GENEVA (Reuters) - A special U.N. human rights investigator will visit the United States this month to probe racism, an issue that has forced its way into the race to secure the Democratic Party's presidential nomination.

Apparently, they are going to advise us of how to deal with our "race" problem. What a crock! I mean really! Who's paying for this crap?!? I'm going to look up who's financing this. It's so absurd it's just not even funny. But, now you know!
In Other News
I've spent the last couple of days doing a complete overhaul on my blog. I hope everyone likes the new format! I'm determined to keep it like this for a little while. At least until I'm bored again!!
Let me bring everyone up to date here! Saturday was insanely long. Megan had a softball game at 9:00 AM. That required everyone to get up at 7:00 AM so we could be out the door in time for Megan to be there at 8:30. On a good note, they won the game with a score of 26 to 13. Megan had 2 runs!! She is improving so much! We're all very proud of her! After that we went home, ate breakfast and Matt changed into his uniform. His game was at noon, so we went racing off to get him there by 11:30. He won his game also! (they don't keep score at his age, so everyone wins) He hit the ball well, but we're dealing with some serious boredom in the outfield. On this occasion, at one point in the game, he was sitting in the grass in the shade of a large tree. But, at least he played! We took off for home after that, dragging grandpa with us again! Uncle Matt got out the grill and made us a very yummy, if not all that nutritious, lunch! YEAH hot dogs!! I attempted to put the kids down for a nap after lunch. Not all that effective. Megan and Matt went to sleep, but John and Abbi had no such issues. (Grandpa went to sleep also!!! LOL) Anyway, got John dressed and headed BACK to the ballpark for John's game at 5:00 PM. His game actually managed to start pretty much on time! John had 2 awesome hits!! He finally decided to hit the ball HARD! Woohooo!! We're keeping our fingers crossed that it's not a one time thing! =) I'll make sure you guys are kept abreast of the situation!!
Anyway, after all that yesterday, I didn't feel inclined to do much of anything today. We all slept in, including Abbi. Uncle Matt was really the only industrious one. He took apart our problem toilet twice! It's still broken, but hey, we must be getting closer!! Oh, he mowed the lawn too.
Tomorrow I get to call the school and make an appt. with John's teacher! I have some questions that REALLY need answers. I'll give you the full story tomorrow!
